ABSTRACT

This study aimed to evaluate the teacher’s life development project in Nakhon Phanon Province using the CIPP Model which comprises context, input, process and output.
The sample employed in this study consisted of 351 people selected from members of the Network Committees for the Development of Teacher’s Life in Nakhon Phanom Province, chair of each committee and chair of the board of the whole network for the development of teacher’s life in Nakhon Phanom Province, government teachers whose application for a loan was approved, government teachers who were group members but not applicants for a loan, persons in charge of money in their own educational work unit, and Government Savings Bank employees of credit.  The tool used to gather data was a set of 5-rating scale questionnaires constructed by this researcher, whose discrimination power coefficients were between 0.31 and 0.92, and its reliability was 0.86.  Statistics used were mean and standard deviation.

The results of this research were as follows:

                   1.  The result of evaluating the teacher’s life development project in Nakhon Phanom Province as a whole was at the high appropriate level and considered a pass of the evaluation criterion.  While each respect was taken into consideration, it showed as follows:

As each facet of this respect was investigated, it disclosed that knowledge and understanding of practices among the persons concerned, appropriateness of rules and conditions of making a loan, and suitability of an amount of money to be allowed to borrow each were at the high appropriate level.
1.3      As for the process respect, it showed that it was at the high appropriate level.
As each facet of this respect was examined, it showed that management of the work units concerned, management of the Office of Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Educational Personnel in Nakhon Phanom Province, and management of Government Savings Bank each were at the high appropriate level.
1.4      As for the output respect, it showed that it was at the high appropriate level.
As each facet of the output was considered, it revealed that the result or achievement for objectives of the project and consequences for the project each were at the high appropriate level.
2.      Those respects that should be proposed with the ways to manage the teacher’s life
development project in Nakhon Phanom Province were of the process and output as already presented in this study.
